Tokens are Primio's way of measuring usage. Different tasks use different amounts depending on their complexity — generating your first app, making change requests, running web searches, or chatting with the AI.
Once your monthly token balance is used up, you can upgrade to a higher plan to receive more tokens immediately. Upgrades are prorated, so you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your current billing period.
When you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle, both the price you pay and the tokens you receive are prorated based on the days remaining until your next renewal. You pay only the difference between your old and new plan, and you get a matching share of the new plan's token allowance. On your next renewal, you'll receive the full token amount for your selected plan.
Example: You're on Build ($25, 1M tokens) and 15 days into a 30-day cycle, you upgrade to Scale ($100, 5.5M tokens). With 15 days remaining (50% of the cycle), you pay $37.50 (50% of the $75 plan difference) and receive 2,250,000 additional tokens (50% of the 4.5M token difference). At your next renewal, you'll get the full 5.5M tokens.
No — unused tokens don't accumulate or carry over between months. Each billing cycle resets your token balance.
Yes, you can change your plan anytime from the pricing page or via "Manage your payment preferences and check past payments", which opens our Stripe billing portal where you can update or cancel your subscription.
Yes. You can cancel whenever you want and keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle. Cancellation is handled through the Stripe billing portal.
We don't currently offer one-off top-ups. To get more tokens, upgrade to a higher plan — the upgrade takes effect instantly and is prorated based on the days remaining in your billing cycle.
The Free plan lets you explore Primio with a smaller token balance, automatic model selection, the core building experience, and free PWA hosting on the web. Android, iOS, and PWA Export builds, code export, manual model selection, and priority support are reserved for paid plans.
