Use Preview on mobile in the preview panel for quick device testing — no build needed. Use Web Hosting (free) when you need a shareable URL. Move to Android/iOS builds when you’re ready for app store submission.

Preview is not device emulation

The web preview in the workspace is a real-time Flutter web build — great for rapid iteration. But it’s a preview, not device emulation. Some features (camera, sensors, platform-specific APIs) behave differently on actual hardware. Always build an APK or IPA and test on a real device before publishing to app stores.
