Project Sharing

Share a project with other Primio users so you can build together in the same workspace. The person who created the project stays the owner. Everyone they add is a member. Members work inside the project on the owner’s behalf — the owner’s tokens are consumed, and the owner’s plan decides which premium features are available.

  • The user who created the project is always the owner.
  • Everyone invited into the project is a member.
  • Ownership cannot be transferred. There is no option to change the owner.

Only the owner can add members.

  1. Open Workspace → Sharing.

  2. Click Add member.

  3. Enter the collaborator’s email address and click Add.

Access is granted immediately. There is no invitation email and no accept step — the project appears in the invitee’s side menu as soon as they are added.

Members can do the day-to-day work of building the app. They cannot manage who has access or delete the project.

Members leave from the side menu: hover (or long-press on mobile) the project and choose Leave project.

The owner’s tokens are consumed for every AI action on the shared project, including prompts a member sends. Members act on the owner’s behalf.

  • Members see the project’s remaining balance in the chat input, not their own personal balance.
  • When the owner is running low, members see Project owner is low on tokens — they do not get an Add tokens button.
  • If the owner runs out, members see The project owner has run out of tokens. Ask them to upgrade plan or wait for their monthly reset. Only the owner can upgrade.

See Token System for how tokens are consumed.

Plan entitlements follow the project owner, not the person clicking.

  • If the owner is on a paid plan, members get paid-only outputs inside that project (AAB, IPA, PWA export, code export, Store Assets, Store Audit) even if the member is on the Free plan.
  • A member’s own paid plan does not lift a Free owner’s project. The owner’s privileges are the ones that apply.

See Plans & Pricing for what each plan unlocks.

Shared projects appear in Your Projects in the side menu, mixed with projects you own.

  • Members see a Shared with me indicator on projects they were invited to.
  • Owners see a Owner, shared with others indicator on projects they have shared.

When more than one person is on a project, chat messages show the sender’s avatar and name so you can tell who prompted what.

Owner: open Workspace → Sharing, click the trash icon on a member row, and confirm Remove member?. The member loses access immediately.

Member: open the side menu, choose Leave project on the shared project, and confirm. Leaving does not delete the project or affect other members.

  • Ownership cannot be transferred.
  • There are no per-member permission levels yet — everyone invited is a member with the same access.
  • The invitee must already be a registered Primio user.
  • There are no invitation emails or pending invites. Adding a member grants access immediately.
