Why the Change
When we started, it was already clear that AI was going to change web development forever. But native mobile apps were a different story. Building in Dart and Flutter — the leading cross-platform framework — meant dealing with a level of complexity that AI tooling hadn’t cracked yet. Darvin was a scrappy experiment to see if it could: could AI build real, Flutter-based native mobile apps from a conversation?
Turns out, it could. And as the platform grew — better models, smarter code generation, more ambitious projects — the gap between what we’d become and what our name said about us kept widening.
We needed a name that carried the same weight as the apps our users were building.
